ए दिल बख्श दे मुझे कि
अब मैं रुक नहीं सकती
मैं प्रेम नहीं लिख सकती
नहीं लिख सकती नज़रों का इशारा
हाथों का स्पर्श औऱ दिलों की धड़कन
जो देख रहीं हैं आँखे मेरी
उनसे नज़र नहीं चुरा सकती
अब मैं प्रेम नहीं लिख सकती
अब जो रुक गई तो शायद
फिर कभी न लिख पाऊँगी
कविता कभी सम्मान की
देश की, स्वाभिमान की
जल रहा है देश मेरा जिस आग में
उसमें अपने हाथ नहीं सेंक पाऊँगी
कि अब मैं प्रेम नहीं लिख पाऊँगी..!!

समझता नहीं यहां जस्बात मेरे, बेहतर उस दरख़्त से कोई,
जो कट गया हर बदलते मौसम में लोगों की ज़रूरत के लिए।

only when you
interview me do
I realize that I am alive ...

The house is empty.
I am not.
it's just a house not home.
It's just an address not residence.
I live inside me.
Indeed !!
The house is empty.

The day you left,
I thought I lost everything,
left with nothing,
all that dreams shattered,
to you nothing mattered...!!
I never wanted to lose you.
I never thought I'll lose you.
It was harder to breathe.
It was harder to live.
I thought I cannot live anymore,
I thought I'd die.

But, see...
Today I'm alive..!
I'm living my life.
I'm loving my life.

But, somewhere when you left,
I was left with a blank space in my heart,
Which is still empty.
And it'll be.

That I'm alive!

I am still alive,
And it's all that matters.
Maybe I'm broke,
Maybe I'm unhappy,
Maybe I don't smile,
Maybe I'm fragile,
Doesn't matter to me what's my mood
But all that matters is I'm alive!
I know now yesterday was not the end
I know now there is one more chance,
Maybe I'll fix the pieces,
Maybe I'll be happy again,
Maybe I'll laugh at myself,
Maybe I'll be back again,
Or maybe not!
I don't know that
And it least matters to me now,
Coz today...
I woke up with this thought in my head
That I'm still alive!
