कोई ख़ास तस्वीर भी नहीं,
कोई ऐसी एक बात भी नहीं
याद तो रोज़ आती है
पर ऐसी कोई तक़दीर ही नहीं
जिसमें आप मेरी तस्वीर नहीं

आख़री बार की बात याद है
उस दिन की पूरी तस्वीर याद है
बोला था आपने साथ में खाओ
क्या पता था ये आख़री मुलाक़ात है
पिरो रखा है आज भी उस दिन को,
जिस दिन आपने कहा बस
“यही आख़री मुलाक़ात है”

और खुद का हिस्सा हमेशा ज्यादा रखते हैं

जब दिन खुशियों से भरा हो
और रात दर्द से भरी
तब भी खुद को झोंक देते हैं रात के अंधियारे में

फिक्रमंद "पिता" की, ऊंची आवाज भी

न मुसीबतें ही रोक सकी,
जो बच्चों ने याद किया 'पिता' को
उसे तो मिलों की दूरी भी न रोक सकी.. !
