the golden-bird rests

Long walk since 1947
Long as it has been 71 years since our freedom,
Walk as called golden sparrow, till today India has not taken the flight it deserves!
Days were difficult as Pakistan attacked,
The pillar behind freedom Gandhi was dead,
Still democratic India managed to rise!
Liberating Goa and Pondicherry managing a stride,
From the days of famine causing millions deaths,
To a day where India exports grains to the world!
The time when US was stepping on the moon,
India was busy in laying first stones of ISRO,
Yet we see how fast ISRO rose,
From sending Chandrayan and Mangalyan,
To launching satellites for the countries on our side!
Inspite of loosing thrice Pakistan started Kargil fight,
Again our courageous soldiers lost their lives to save our country’s pride,
We owe our lives to the army standing on LOC day and night,
So that we live peaceful lives!
From Babri masjid,Operation bluestar, Cauvery disputes,
To terror attacks which caused numerous bloodshed,
Still the spirit of India is alive,
Which will make India fly highest in the sky!

Our country is independent and free.

Having the opportunity to be free,
My soul breathed.
Having the opportunity to be free,
My wings raised.
Having the opportunity to be fee,
My body wished.

The golden bird said, with a heavy heart.. Our country is free but why cannot it fly?

वो वक्त ही कुछ और था,
जब गलियाँ गुजरती थी,
गाँव से ही होकर।
हर नुक्कड़ के पीपल की
छाँव से ही होकर।
गुम गई वो गलियाँ,
कहीं चकाचौंध में।
उस अधकटे पीपल का
क्या कुसूर था?
शायद यही मंजूर था l
जहां मिट्टी का घरौंदा था,
वहाँ ईंट के मकान हैं।
भौतिकता चरम पर है,
भावनाएं वीरान हैं।
यहाँ लोग तो आज भी हैं,
जहां कभी इंसान था।।
और यूँ ही ,वो मंजर भी ढल गया,
जो जग भर में मशहूर था।
शायद यही मंजूर था।।

He was the darken sky and I was the blue moon ...He was the great fruitful sea and I was the ill-fated sea rover BUT when I came to know the crucial truth of life I realized that He was only the GOLDEN CAGE and I was the GOLDEN BIRD in it

You ll find me where
When no women ll be in fear
You ll find me where
No old age home ll be there
You ll find me where
Infants get nutrition food and care
You ll find me where
No newlywed ll be in arms of fire
You ll find me where
No place in country ll be in terror
You ll find me where
Right to education will be superior
You ll find me where
No caste ,tribe or religion treat as inferior .

वो सुनहरा भारत न लौटेगा,
उस चिड़िया का पता नहीं।
जब तक धर्म की तलवार लटकती,
उज्जवल भविष्य दिखेगा नहीं॥

1857 - or the dawn of India free,
Made the whites bow down to their knee.
Proclaimed wealth of skill and talent alike,
Fuel to progress of development's hike.

Soldiers marching through this sacred land;
Flourishing vastness of culture, indeed grand.
The melodious chirpings of this golden bird,
Resonates the glory of countless martyrs unheard.
Kites and colours adorn the sky;
Lamps spread brightness far and high.
Come, dear indians, let's surf the waves of diverse, royal heritage.
Unite together to break limitations' cage,
Unite together and pace towards the coming age.
