कभी पल-पल नज़र आता है
कभी ओझल हो जाता है
कम्बख्त महबूब मेरा,
कभी इश्क सा
तो कभी चाँद सा बन जाता है

कभी कभी मैं खुद से तंग आजा ती हूँ
क्यों इतना सोचकर परेशान हो जाती हूँ
तलास सदा एक हमदर्द की होती है
बस इसी कसमकस में मुलाकात
हर दफा बेदर्द से हो जाती है

पापा व भैया के यादों के
अश्रु नीर भरे थे उसमें 😢
हाँ वो प्रज्वलित होता रहा
परन्तु चारों तरफ अँधेरा था

ना पहनी मैंने New dress
ना बनाई सुंदर सी रंगोली
ना pic click किया
उस दीए के साथ

शोर ही शोर पटाखों की थी
झिलमिलाते प्रकाश
परन्तु हम निस्तब्ध
अँधेरे में समसीन थे
हाँ ...ऐसी ही थी
हमारी दीपावली 😢

आँखों में आंसू लेके ,होंठों से मुस्कुराये
हम जैसे जी रहे है ,कोई जी के तो बताये

Me- अपनी जिंदगी तो जी नही पा रहे
तेरी जिंदगी क्या ख़ाक जियेंगे

The time when you will hear the two most common conflicting statements-
"Bachhe nhi ho ab tum, be mature!"
"Itne bhi bade nhi huye ho abhi, chhote ho chhote jaise rho"..!

the hardest to start with;
But once the pace started,
My heart felt at ease
And hands flowed so facile.

Then came the shower like waterfall!
And I knew my effort was gone,
Because you stood there
Like an innocent monk,
Staring blankly with guilty puppy eyes.

There fell the waste so dirty-
Which was once a masterpiece;
And just in a blink, turned into garbage,
As all my hours of efforts drowned
With your carelessness to drink.

Then started a cold war!
It was the stupidest fight ever.
But then there's no taste
If not for such bickerings,
Because we're the Family.
