They tore up my organs
to taste my emotions.
I sewed up self to your organs
to be torn together.

& keep with you to see when you needed.

But, I'm sorry that I had to leave

handmodelled by quirky youths
and that very watch reminds me
how I wasted my time
saving to spoil you , with gifts!
freely spilling my love like water,
which you soiled, and washed your sins
leaving me a devastated fragment of myself.”

and finally i have a word
for what i've almost always felt.
the dislocation, fragmentation
withdrawal, alienation, it all
steamed from a sense of
homelessness.
yes, homeless.
that's how i've always felt.
not in terms of places
but people.

You hated me for being too kind
To you I was pathetic
It showed in your eyes
You said I had a heart big enough
cause I forgave my abuser
and that was the problem
me, being too sensitive
too weak
too miserable.

My anger issues knows no bounds.They say I am an artist.It sounds like thick rope shackles around my ankles. They say, I m supposed to be flowing, accepting , my state unaltered by absolutely nothing. Am I to paint myself colorless ? They seem to wash away pieces from me each time they lay their cold hands on my skin. They mix my blood with the colours on my palette like some Celtic  binding ritual. I am a woman.I am an artist. Am I to weave myself passive to fit in their limited palms? Tsk.

Sometimes a person gets fragmented,it is only hope that will keep him intact.

On one hand, he promised her that he would protect her till his last breath but on the other hand, she protects herself from him daily.

Outside of me
there is this world
more fragmented
than the inside of mine,
But I find life seamless
when it's drawn
as the world is seen
through the eyes of a child.
