Her gaze pays no heeds to my pleas,
It feeds on my entreaties to leave me alone, for I have to work,
But my angel lingers near the door,
And grins at me, a mess, her lover.
She fights brave battles out there, out here, everywhere, while I struggle to win my flimsy battles. So her grin, teasing me, puts me to shame, then I blush with relish and I wish she never leaves
And my heart thuds in line with her footsteps as she walks to the shower,
And my whole warp into this flower that bloomed in my heart years ago when she said hi.
