I am forgetful.

In attempts to keep
my dearest things safe,
I hide them
very carefully
and forget.
Keys, dry flowers,
letters, earrings,
tickets I've travelled on,
love.
Often I find them
lying around
in folds of sweaters,
under pillows, in food cans,
in old books,
in hearts.
Often I find them
when they are
not needed anymore.

The things
we try to forget,
make us feel
the deepest
and
remain with us
the longest.

When I was trying hard to be a less forgetful,
He asked me to forget him..
But now I don't forget things easily..

Forget those people who forgets you 🤨.

Someone says.........
You're very fluffy
But I'm not fluffy
His memories made me fluffy

In my own attempt
to not achieve your apathy,
I tore the paper
that preserved your handwriting
into bits.
With each bit
that I gave to the wind
I chanted
forget me..
forget me not..
forget me..
forget me not..

forget me not.

Just like a dream, my poem starts in the middle.
And before I can even realize- it has ended.
I couldn't reach the pen, the page was left
empty yet again.
I looked for my phone; it has a peculiar power to render me forgetful.
I thought, maybe it could reverse it this time.

These times.
Yes, it's not the first and something tells me it won't be the last time
I try to capture the feelings like a cat
chasing the beam- that you are projecting on the floor.
I do wonder,
will I ever stop being the cat
or will the beam ever go weak.

Or will you ever get bored of me
or will i ever find a way to not include you in my poetry.

The Sun couldn't have lit up your vision if you didn't have your pair of eyes to assist you. We often forget to thank the ones who help us in silence and don't make a fuss about it.

Yes, Iam forgetful by nature
that why they thought that,
I forget to remember them.

Be crazy
Be weird with me
Forget all your things here and there
Get stuck in traffic n be late always!
Ask a thousand times 'How do I look'
Scream 'I'm hungry' in every tuition
Always be confused..be nervous
And hold my arms
When I'm down
And let me grab them back
Cuz I love you!
