FOOLISHNESS
He looks for love in the pages of novels and in the scenes of romance films, because he does not have anyone to love for himself. He reads old and lost poetry and listens to heartbreak songs to prove the only fact that love hurts.
He hangs on the premise of stories and the fairytales of others to hear what it sounds like to be in love.
He returns to the same location daily where he felt the most love, hoping, praying, wishing for that love to find him once more. Hoping for that long lost love to rescue him, but just as the sun rises and the moon falls, the love never sets at all.
Strong is he that waits even without seeing results, for foolishness is his reward and pity is his footstool. "She left and she is never coming back", they told him. Too stubborn to hear, he blocks them off, waiting, simply waiting for his lover to prove them wrong.
