It was late afternoon and I dressed to the auspicious customary Mekhla Chadar(an Assamese tradition), red cheeks and a grin not-so wide. The area faced the breathtaking sunset and I couldn't defer but gaze. The naked trees hung the jasmine scented candles and the vineyard decored with the spreads of white leaves. The most beautiful and crafted designer veils I was being dressed upon. My eyes couldn't stop yet behold the guests' who dined the evening. Hustles and chit chat and I could hear people complimenting the couple on board to get married. " Afterall this is a doctors' wedding ", I could glean on people talking about how doctors know each other well and their heart conditions and treatments, and a sarcastic laugh followed. As soon as the groom arrived, attention was utterly on him as he looked fanciable and drop-dead gorgeous and I could instantly catch out other girls whispering " Oh damn, who doesn't wish to have a groom like him?". Afterall, my man was here to take his girl off with him. And the wedding ceremonies followed up.
