Hence, I always wondered whether I will be able to fulfill the responsibilities and duties when I will have to take care of another soul?? Whether I will be able to support her, protect her and preserve her, the way she would deserve??

Now I know the answer. Oh yes I do because now I know you. I know that I will happily do every bit of aforementioned stuff because now I want to. I am willing to.
