and my parents

without the mark
of vermilion
or a perfectly draped
saree.

She will bite up your lips
To let you endure the pain,
She will hold you tight
To let you feel her warmth,
She will kiss you forehead
To make you rise in love...

do you rejoice
the fall?...

of the suicidal star,
of the orange leaf,
of the first drop,
of the insomniac's sleep.

falls can be beautiful,
and so can be yours.
don't you fear the landing,
the fall will teach you to endure.

Each time my secrets fills in the
Tiny little spaces of those Alphabet curls
I wonder how much it could endure
And For How Long....
