Empowered​ Consumer But Confused Individual

Businesses today are actually trying to satisfy a "crowd of consumers", but not an individual. It is because of the accessibility of Consumers to the opinions of a crowd (collection of people with infinite and different opinions), they are getting well informed and hence empowered. But an Individual is becoming a well confused mind, jumping from one opinion and purpose to other because he got different impressions of the same product on his mind.

A consumer is one entity but now his psychology is not of an individual person but actually of a "crowd".  To understand, serve and satisfy him, Businesses have to analyse the crowd (real or virtual) by which that consumer is surrounded.  The challenge is that the "crowd"  is itself not stable in its thoughts and is changing continuosly.

The Consumer today is migrating continuously (both physically and psychologically)  through Real and Virtual modes.

The individual is in the crowd of People,  Advertisements,  Brands and Opinions in the era of Consumerisn. He/She is now a Displaced entity from his/her Values, Roots, Birthplace and is...
