'तुच्छ' सोच कहने से पहले
ज़रा अपनी सोच के गिरेबान में झांक लीजिएगा
जो तब भी ग़लत लगूं मैं, तो जात की पट्टी खोलकर
ज़रा गरीबों की बस्तियों में घूम लीजिएगा।

ये गरीबी है जनाब......
ये मज़हब या जात नहीं देखती
आपसे बेहतर तो ये तंगी है
कम से कम ये भेदभाव तो नहीं करती।
