A dream is not so quite a dream
It is rather something which is undone
Every night it makes you either laugh or scream
An instinct which should not be taken for fun

Achieved while thinking beyond mainstream
Should have the power to make people stun
Which is not possible when in one's daydream
Don't you dare delay while you should begun
As, it is a dream which is not so quite a dream

Came in my life and made me cry

The one who taught me to
paint my dreams
took my hues when I went
to color my reality.

बहुत कुछ जैसे छूटता जा रहा
मन बावरा जैसे खुद को ही भूलता जा रहा

दृढ़ संकल्प था जो अपने लक्ष्य को लेकर
कर्मवीर था जो अपने कर्म को लेकर

बड़े-बड़े सपने संजोए थे अपने लक्ष्य को लेकर
बड़ी-बड़ी बातें थी सिर्फ अपने लक्ष्य को लेकर

लक्ष्य ही सपना था, सपना ही लक्ष्य था
उस लक्ष्य से बड़ा उसके जीवन में कुछ भी ना था

कुछ ऐसा हुआ भटकाव उसमें समन्वित हुआ
आलस से वो भर गया, लक्ष्य उसका धूमिल हो गया

मेरे सपनो की कीमत न लगा -ए- सबा
मेरे सपनो से अपनो की आस लगी है

I'm afraid to dream because I've seen so many dreams die right in front of me.

They didn't had an easy death. They were murdered, crushed and cut into piece before they bleed to death.

I saw them taking their last breathe with my bare eyes. I heard their scream for help. I felt their pain and agony. I wanted to help or maybe could have helped only if I_

Our hearts warm to this death by barbed words,
Our eyes imbibe this dying light of murky tomorrow,
And our souls stand wrecked beneath the silver linings of an illusive cloud,
So let's breathe in, this smoke that surrounds us,
Slowly crumbling under the feet of our wilting dreams.
