Dead small wishes
lay everywhere
into our tiny 2bhk floor.

there is no soil in the base of our floors,
we live upon false ambitions ;
however, you won't believe,
it has been years I have seen a garden
or felt cushy green carpet under my feet.

Forgive me!
if I laugh at your question,
but we are too selfish
and yet we let our wishes die,
perhaps, this is the reason
flowers don't bloom here
anymore.

The less we know that the star is already dead
