SLOW BUT STEADY

A step, then another
Till the end is in sight
A journey cut into phases,
How else do we win?

Life is
A marathon of hurdles
A thousand obstacles
One leading to downfall

Will weary legs not wobble
In the face of unlimited jumps?
So, we divide our journey
Rests preparing us for other phases

A step, then another
Our journeys slow but steady
Or a headlong rush to the end
To the likelihood of a crash.
