My words jump and bellow
and brace for your attention;
Perhaps today I could impress you
with this unprolific opening
but I know your eyes are scavenging
for a tangible verse to kick in and
it won't be these lame extensions of metaphors;
The cigarette in your hand blows raspberries
as your lungs stack sighs of prolonged sagas
your eyes bored, flipping a coin
waiting for the heart to call heads
so you can move on to a better poem
without saying how I'm just a scrapyard
of over emphasized verbs and
exhaustive adjectives,
and how my words always seem to
have a chair wedged under the doorknob.

"Lost Love That Lived"

Hazy sun peerfully,eyed through the clouds,
Pecking the peepholes,culled up her spouse,
Tearfully revolving eyeballs,balls of e-mouse,
Teeming and lading diversion,needless a shroud.

Once cuddling stormers,bundled in to unity,
Couldn't perfection grammar,take not for cavity,
Tongue gotten stammer,struck when their beauty,
And broken by hammer,bygone breached treaty.

ऐ मुख अगर मरने का इतना ही शौख है चल चलते है border पे,
वहा मरने पर लोग शहीद कहेंगे,
यहां तो लोग आशिक आवारा, मंजनू कहेंगे।
और चार गालियां मुफ्त में और देंगे,
परिवार को जीने नहीं देंगे,
यहां कुछ नहीं वहां शहीद कहलाएंगे ।।।

I've a vague notion about the star.
Eyes fall into a reverie of it's glitz,
although being aware of the fact
that it's burning there !
