To desolate emptiness, you must relocate
and walk up to the place of fullness.
You need to get tired of your weakness,
to receive strength.
You need to get tired of darkness,
to turn to the light.
You need to get tired of sitting,
to be able to patronize standing.
The ability to rise up is the change,
I mean, it's the engine starter.
And there's need to be disgusted by the old, bad ways
if the new, good ways must hold water.

FOUND WHEN LOST

Searching myself in the mirror,
An incomplete soul I saw,
Trying to find myself in the crowd,
Lost my identity instead.
I couldn't find myself until I held me tight,
But I found myself when I let go of me.
To find myself, I never needed to search,
I just needed to lose myself in the love of God.
When I lost myself in God, I found me in His heart.

I won't lie by saying I don't care what others say about me. I do.
I won't lie by saying I don't feel bad when I'm having a bad day. I do.
I won't lie by saying it doesn't make any difference when people ignore me. It does.
I won't lie by saying I don't get angry when people spread rumors about me. I do.
I am a human and I feel the way other humans do too.
But at the end I remind myself that life is tough and it's best to trust in God when it gets rough.

Is the one who died for my sins.
The one who lets the planets spin
Is the one for whom the angels sing.
The one with whom my day begins
Is the one greater than all kings.
The one who loves every human being
Is the one who starts every beginning.
The brother to those without siblings
Is the one who lets me soar with wings.
The one who sees every surrounding
Is the one who saved me from drowning.

HEAVEN

The golden city shining like Jasper stone is Heaven
Jesus is the way to enter this marvellous mansion,
It's glory is beyond your imagination;
To enter in you must have faith in action
It is not a fiction to leave it in option,
It's not vacation but fix it as your final destination,
Watch and pray that you enter not into temptation;
Let entering into the gates of it be your ambition,
And bringing others into it be your mission;
Rejoice & be glad for great is your reward in heaven.

Glorious Father, Redeemer and King,
with my last breath Your praises I'll sing.
Despite my messes, You are merciful,
in all my failures You remain faithful.

Sin and sickness strike my soul sore,
it seems hard to float my faith ashore.
This burden is hard for me to bear,
The forces around me fuel my fear.

Despite the war within my soul,
Your pure peace is my golden goal.
I am willing to go where you lead me,
I am ready to know what you teach me.

Nothing in this world can separate us,
I'm now joint heirs with my Lord Jesus.
Help me to live for what you died for
I'm ready to die for what you lived for.

Walking past the broad road,
Where flowers and happiness flowed,
I saw bright faces seemingly unfading.
Then I looked down at my feet,
I was standing on thorns with blood
As I was walking through the narrow road.
Though they seemed eternal,
I knew they were fleeting.
For the broad road leads to destruction,
And the narrow road leads to life.

HIS BLESSINGS

I always thought blessings come in the form of joy and success.
So when I faced troubles, hardships and trials,
I took them as pain and complained why it happened to me.
But as days passed by, I realized how they brought me closer to God.
I then understood the meaning of His blessings.
It's not only the joy but also the things that draw us closer to God.
Now whenever I look back to my life,
I can always see God's blessings in it,
Not only because of the things I got,
But also because of who I have become through what I faced.
Be it happiness, smile, tears or scars,
If they bring me closer to God,
I count them all as His blessings.

MY LIGHT

In the darkness,
I have too much pain and shame,
I am so ugly and defamed,
I have lost integrity as well as my dignity,
I am broken and shattered,
I am hopeless and helpless.
Suddenly the bright light came flashing all over me,
Overpowering the darkness inside me.
I am so drawn to it no matter how the darkness try to pull me back.
I rose to my feet having been freed from and
leaving all those that once controlled me,
Saying I am no longer what I used to be
For the bright light,
my savior Jesus Christ,
came owning me.
