खालीपन भी अब बोझ का मतलब समझा रहा है
अकेले तैर रहें हैं सब फिर भी किनारा नजर न आ रहा है

खुला आकाश, है बेखबर चिड़िया
पंख फैराये उड़े।
सूना पिंजड़ा, है बेचैन मनुष्य
पँख तोड़ने की ताक में रहे।

काली नियत, बदलता मौसम
भरा पिंजड़ा, है कैदी चिड़िया
बेज़ुबान चीखें, गूँजती ख़ामोशी
लेकिन घुट रहा मनुष्य है।

Silence seems lost in this chaotic city. A construction site in front of my building made me realize this.

The roads are clogged. I am on my way home. My mind is burdened up and disturbed because I am late and many tasks are left undone at home. I am lethargic. I wish I could bite the dust in order to have a permanent escape from this chaotic life. But, I am not lucky and brave enough to escape. So, I am doomed to live in this pitiless abyss.
