Nine days of different shades
Nine days of celebration of the feminine

Nine days we dance and sing

I miss that HOLI, when mom used to prepare delicious traditional recipes.
&
I could not resist my self entering into kitchen due to that tempting and mouth watering smell spread across the home.

Now it's all about celebrating on WhatsApp.

समा आज रंगीन है
चारों ओर खुशबू - ए - शीर है
बिरयानी दम भरने चल पड़ी है
दरवाज़े की घंटी
मेहमान के आने पर बज्ज चुकी है।

कुछ दे पाओ
तो खुद को खुद ही एक ईदी दे देना
आज मन से सबको माफ कर देना
हर बैर
हो सके तो साफ कर देना
अपनी खुशियों की खुशबू से
हर कोने को मेहका देना
और एक बार सिर्फ अपने लिए
वो बचपन जैसी खिलखिलाती मुस्कान मुस्का देना

अल्लाह खुश हो जाएंगे ये वादा है मेरा,
बस अपने अंदर की बुराइयों को छोड़कर
सच्चाइयों को अपना लेना
सच्चाइयों को अपना लेना।।
