He had grown old but he hadn't grown right.
The over-confidence lay hidden in his wicked unkind smile,
The disobedience was visible from the ripped jeans and rainbow tee,
The footsteps echoed the silence
before a dark catastrophe,
The wretched face bore ripples
caused by the geothermal and tidal forces,
And bare grasslands undergoing vast deforestation.
Ignorance was mixed with every word he mouthed,
Idiocracy Meets Mediocracy - perhaps the best description for him.
But even then, he was my teacher.. er, everyone's teacher.. by force;
Our beloved FATHER EARTH.
