He couldn't escape,
Her kohl filled eyes;
The astronaut in him,
Loved being in the black hole...

Eigengrau.
People mistook her for eigengrau
And insisted on painting everything around her in black and white.
But she painted her thoughts in a million different colours,
Leaving them in awe,
Unsure of how to handle the magic she was.
P.S: Eigengrau is a beautiful German word which means "intrinsic grey" it's the color seen by the eye in perfect darkness.

~Black~
I went out and looked at the night sky
Sky that was calm,deep and black.
Black,the colour of our love.
Our love which was drenched in mystery.
Mystery which denied to decode
Decode those thousands of words we spoke through our eyes.
Our eyes were the biggest imposters.
Imposters as they didn't gave a chance to our voice.
Voice which remained buried under ego and fear.
Fear which I finally overcame.
Overcame the thought of rejection and poured out my heart to you.
You turned out deaf all of a sudden.
All of a sudden,soil beneath was snatched away and dreams got shattered.
Shattered was my heart too searching for darkness to hide tears.
Tears now rests in poetry and breathes in ink embracing black.
Black once again proved to be the colour of my love.

Black was for pride.
Black was for confidence.
Black was for royalty.
Black was for happiness.
For her, black was love.

But For others, black was for the dirt inside her.

Black was the dress
In which she looked Brighter
Blacker was her heart
By which she's being Imposter
Blackest was that night
Which ruined my life Forever

So many hues of blues.
Thrown at the canvas of my soul.


I Smile as it's all black now.

Irony of life

"They wanted you to be black and me to be white forever" said the skin to the hair.

Into the soil of your heart
my feelings were​ cultivated
but the soil was black and
all those feelings were faded

Black was her skin,
And black was her face
Black was her hair
And black were her eyes.

She had nothing similar to
the child she adopted, but her heart.

She looked gorgeous in the red saree, smiled as they congratulated the newly wedded bride.

The black scars underneath smiled too.
