“I want to be free like a bird, fly high up in the sky”.
We all must have said that once in our life.

When you see a bird, you see them fly.
However we miss to see how they struggle to survive.
When it rains, when it thunders, when there’s a famine...
We hide under the roof no longer desiring to fly.
Under a leaf, in a crack or in an old balcony shade,
They try to survive their so “desirable” lives.
Next morning with the rise of the light,
they see their month’s turmoil destroyed in pieces..
No trace of their home nor their child.

Living at the mercy of humans, their lives revolves.
Still we feel the grass on the other side looks greener, freer and evolved.
When you desire to be a bird,
Don’t wish to fly high but wish to have the strength to recreate,
Wish not to be afraid of the indestructible nature of universe,
Wish to be strong enough to digest the adversities,
Wish to be the bird of reality!

गिर कर उठना, उठ कर गिरना
विशाल आसमां में अकेले उड़ना
कभी अपने लिए,कभी अपनो के लिए लड़ना
रोकों नहीं टोंको नहीं सीखने दो उसे खुद से जीना

कभी जो वो गलत उड़ान भरने लगे
सिखलाओ ज़मीं का महत्व उसे
पर समझो ना घोंसले की मर्यादा उसे
गलती करके स्वंय सुधारना सीखने दो उसे

फूल नहीं फ़ौलाद बनने दो
परिंदो को खुल कर उड़ने दो
चट्टानो से भी लड़ना सीखने दो
रिहा कर उसे खुद का घोंसला बनाने दो।।

मुठ्ठी में हौंसले भर दूर गगन उड़ दिख जाऊंगी।
मैं तो पूरा आसमां हूं जमीं पे कैसे टिक जाऊंगी?

क्या करूँगी दो-दो घरों का,
जब दोनों के लिए ही मैं पराई हूँ,

जी हाँ मैं एक बेटी हूँ !!

परिंदा शाख़ पे तन्हा उदास बैठा है
उड़ान भूल गया मुद्दतों की बंदिश में।

FREEDOM BIRDS
freedom of birds is very important we should not keep them in cage . not only humans but all the birds also have right to freedom. free birds look beautiful in the sky but birds in cage do not.at last we should take pledge that we will not put birds in cage.

But, in your life, I never wanted to be a beautiful Robin...
Singing for you day and night,
In confinement...
I wish, I could be the ordinary Pigeon,
Symbolic, yet free...

इन पंछीयो से उड़ना सिखा हैं,
पंख खोल मस्त गगन में जीना सिखा हैं,
आजादी का सही मतलब सिखा हैं,
तो हमने उम्मीदों से ही पलना सिखा हैं।।
