An Ode To My Girlfriend💜❤
To my girl, I encountered in physics lab,
I never knew our chemistry would be beyond fab.
When the practical was alloted for two,
An extra place was destined for you.

I asked your address, just to know you,
And fate of friendship winked with a clue.
Our homes were destined very close,
A ride we unlocked gulping happiness dose.

Left some things unsaid.
Skipped some chapters unread.
But, hearts that were meant to get one,
Stood ebullient against every stormy turn.

You once asked, "Can I sit with you?",
And you chose me amidst the blue.
We unwrapped a journey , I will never rue,
Potraying masterpiece with non-existing hue.

From sitting to studying together,
Cherishable memories we learnt to gather.
We fight, we laugh;
But couldn't get each other enough.

"Are you still together?", yelled various sounds,
Meanwhile, serenity breathing in reality; I found.
Still, a plethora of memories I wish to earn,
Example of forever, now I wish to learn.

We used to make paper boats in the rain,
Now I watch others' play in the street.
Brings back the nostalgia and a pang of pain.

"Let's race till your home", you told.
I pedalled my new bicycle with all my might, never looking back even for a second. I wanted to boast you about how cool it was.
Thrilled with happiness and panting wildly I made it first to my gate.

And when finally I looked back, you weren't there anymore.

"Explaining family tree to each other"
the two best friends giggled.

I behave abnormally, before during and after.

Its at the time of conference call with my best shits!
