Like a big splash of brass in the jazz ensemble
It entices you to swing in,

सुना है तुम्हें किताबें📚 पढ़ने का बहुत शौक है, इसलिए किताब का एक पन्ना📄 बनना चाहती हूं।
हर पन्ने को पलटते वक्त तेरी मुस्कुराहट😊 देखना चाहती हूं।
तुम्हें नहीं पता कि हर पन्ने में मैं हूं, लेकिन इस बात से तुम्हें रूबारू कराना चाहती हूं।
तुम भी मुझे महसूस करते हो,बस इस बात का एक इम्तिहान चाहती हूं।
अधूरी शाम का अधूरा किस्सा हूं मैं,जो पढ़ा न गया, किताब का वो हिस्सा हूं मैं।
किताबें भी बिल्कुल मेरी तरह हैं,अल्फ़ाज़ से भरपूर मगर खामोश सिलसिला है।
सोचती हूं एक दिन तुम इस खामोशी को पहचान लोगे।
सामने न सही लेकिन किताबों के ज़रिये मेरे सवालों के जवाब दोगे।

Saaya bhi jahan saath chod deti hai
Ehsaas tere hone se hi safar kat rahi h......

Yun to tere ruh se hai har saath ka waada
Par meri jaan hi rukhsat le rahi............

Hungry Tide...
Amitav Ghosh– the name rang a bell in my head, the moment I saw it written in bold letters on the cover page of The Hungry Tide. Perhaps  Amitabh Bachhan – Indian Cinema’s legendary actor and one of my favourites courtesy Baghban had something to do with it. Anyhow, I picked up the book, that looked a bit bulky to start with. But once I started reading it, I just could not stop.

Amitav has an amazing ability to merge characters from diverse backgrounds. This was my first book by Amitav Ghosh , which made me hooked onto him for the next six months, goading me to read all his creations, devouring each with more enthusiasm, providing food for a never ending hunger and he certainly did not disappoint with his historic Glass Palace, queer Calcutta Chromosome and engaging Shadow Lines.

Flowers fear to bloom.

Heartbreak, disillusionment or sadness has always led me to books. For once, they are someone I don't mind having a one-sided relationship with.
