Numb; Not Dumb

Don't even know why I'm feeling this way,
Maybe hangover of overwhelming yesterday.
It's like my mind is sitting gently on a bay,
Not wanting any noise as it calmly lay.

Don't even have answers to things I know.
It's fast paced outside but inside me is slow.
I can almost feel the calm in my blood flow,
With obvious nonchalance in my face to show.

No strength to prove anything,
Nor explain this weird feeling
That I'm just currently numb;
And not in any way dumb.
