एक मासूमियत मै लिपटी लड़की है
कोई नज़र भर देखे तो जी भर जाए।
तसव्वुर की सारी हदें उसकी हो अब,
वो चाहती है कोई आ मिले,उसके शहर जाए।
ये सारे दर्द ये मसले हाल पुराने, है जो उसके
अब इन सब की कैद से उसको आजाद किया जाए।
खाव्हिशें हज़ार है मेरी मगर ये भी तो है, के
इश्क़ भी है उनसे ये बात अब क़ुबूल की जाए।
हस दे तो फिर उसे जैसे ताकते रहता हूं मै
फिर से उसको हसां दे ऐसी कोई बात की जाए.
वो इतने सराफत से निहारती है दिन रात ,तस्वीर
हमारी,ऐसे मै मुमकिन कहा मुझको नज़र लग जाए।
जब भी दुआ करती है, करती है मेरे खैरियत के लिए
काश उस पगली लड़की को मेरी भी उमर लग जाए।

बस दो चार कदम भर ही क्यूं,
आओ की सारी ज़िन्दगी
अब हाथ थाम साथ चलते है।
वहीं जहां बगैर कुछ गवाए
