The sweet nothings are now nothing,
The limited vibrant colour over my dark canvas came to a lifelong halt,
The words shared at the end row of the public transport turned to dust.
The blue gloss paper we shared, turned out to be me,
Torn and blue.
The drafts, deleted, never to be restored,
Tears tattered over during the final straw.
The rules broken like the faults over my heart from the yearning of you.
The sunlight shut by the windows,
Rusted to never to be touched again.
The kinship taken as a lovely beginning,
Turned to be a brutal ending,
With a story too hollow for narration.
A heart too caught up with itself to mourn over the loss of its life.

हर बार तुम ही सही हो ऐसा जरूरी हो नहीं सकता,
प्रेम में सब समर्पण कर दे ये संभव हो नहीं सकता,
खैर ये तो प्रेम करने वाला ही जानता है...
के इसमें डूबने के बाद कभी कोई पार हो नहीं सकता।।

सपना,इश्क और खुदा,
यूहीं सबको नहीं मिलता,
तपना पड़ता है संघर्ष की भट्टी पर,
झुलसना पड़ता है एक आंच पर,
जब दिन रात का अंतर मिट जाता है,
जब रातें बेचैन हो जाती हैं,
नींद से भरी जगी आँखों के साथ,
तब जा कर वो ज्ञान मिलता है,
वो सफ़लता मिलती है,और सपना पूरा होता है||
सच कहु तो संघर्ष करना,
इश्क करने और इबादत करने जैसा ही होता है,
जैसे किसी के प्रेम में प्रेमी हर हद को लांघ जाता है,
जैसे किसी ईश्वर की भक्ति में डूबा भक्त उसी ईश्वर में खो जाता है,
वैसे ही सपने देखने की चाह में मन भी डब जाता है।
मैंने तो तीनों किया, वो भी पूरी शिद्दत से,
पर अफ़सोस प्रेम और सपने को पा ना सका।
पर जो मन है ना वो हारा नहीं है,
लगा है सपनों के पीछे संघर्ष में,
और प्रेम उसको क्या ही कहु,
खुद में समाए वो हर रोज बढ़ता ही है तुम्हारे लिए॥
अपनी कहानी तुमसे एक रोज़ ज़रूर कहूँगा,
और तब मेरा भी एक मुकाम होगा,मेरी भी एक पहचान होगी।

आज फिर खुश हो लिया मन
उन यादों में फिर से जी कर,
जिन्हे हम कभी भूलने के लिए
दुआ किया करते थे।
शायद यादें ही है जो ,
