दुबली सी पतली सी
पर जब वो हंसती थी
स्कूल की वो शान थी
हर competition में रोशन school का करती नाम थी
Intelligent तो पहले से थी ही
Creativity में भी सबकी बाप थी
Debate, speeches में भी निपुण
करती ऊंचा teachers, school का नाम थी

Class की monitor थी, अच्छी होना उसकी आदत थी
दोनों बहने प्यारी हैं, अंकल आंटी की राजकुमारी हैं
दोनों में बहुत प्यार है,रखती एक दूसरे का ख्याल है
Animals उसका प्यार है
जिनका आज नहीं रखता कोई खास ख्याल है

बालों की दो चोटी थी
जिसमे दो लाल रंग की पट्टियां (ribbon)थी
उसकी एक सहेली थी
जिसकी बिना वो अकेली थी
साथ में खाना खाते थे
दोनों competion में भाग लेकर position लेकर आते थे
उससे भी शायद अब उसका झगड़ा है
पता नहीं क्या मसला है

मेरा दिल तड़पता है
उसके लिए धड़कता है
बतानी उसे ये कहानी थी
वो मेरे दिल की रानी थी (है)
पर अभी वो पढ़ाई में busy hai
करनी wait जरूरी है
एक साल और 327 दिन से दूरी है
पर क्या करे मजबूरी है
करता रब से आशा हूं
हो उसका selection बस यही कहना चाहता हूं।

धरती और चाँद को यूँ ही सलामत रखना,
हकीकत को सच और दिखावे को झूठ ही रखना

किस्मत ने चाहा तो फिर मिलेंगे यारों ,
बस अपनी इस दोस्ती का नाम सबसे ऊपर रखना..❣️
