Love your broken self
To heal the pain
You have unknowingly
Or knowingly inflicted
Upon thyself.

What is poetry,
if not the journey of life?
Sometimes it heals you,
sometimes it cuts you like a knife.

With a shattered soul,
you can't feel.
But if you hold on
to each and every piece,
you can heal.

All my broken shards
will party with me
when I heal because,
they were there,
even when happiness
was never.

When you hurt under the surface
and hide all your feelings,
sometimes it breaks you down.
Sometimes it takes you a few steps closer to healing.

Don't wish them pain,
Wish them healing.

Hope seems so stifling
in my heart's crevices
when love shatters me.

Life sniggers at me
asking me to walk
which I don't want to
unless you heal me.

in your hurt
and that
it has made
you strong;
lie down
in the curry
of oozing words,
use them to show
how not
you are all wrong.

your glistening eyes are why
I've fallen in love with you;
don't worry, I'll never tear you up
for, the insanity of my love
could only heal.
