Unity

The man wants to play tough.
The woman wants to feel beautiful,
but especially
attractive and pleasing to the eye.

The woman wants to be loved.
The man wants to be respected.

She wants to be caressed.
He wants to affectionately
conquer her heart.

He wants to "befruit" her.
She wants to bring forth his "sprouts".

Together they want to become one,
not realizing
to seek the altar first,
to give glory and honor
to the Creator,
our Heavenly Father ...

Who has ordained husband and wife
to live and operate as one unit,

strengthening each other,
to make up for the shortcomings
of one another,

giving Him all honor and glory #Ephesians5verse22to33
as commanded #Matthew5verse16
by our Lord; #John8verse12
the Light
of the world.

as the perfect partner

And while the road
may not always seem smooth,
just remember,
when you walk with God
he makes everything work
for your good.

You may not be there yet,
but day by day
you're making these small little steps,
which is known
as progress.

So on this special day,
my child,
I encourage you
to keep on growing,
not only in faith,
but also in wisdom,
led by the Spirit
to find and fulfill your calling
in God's Kingdom.

My dear son, PROUD
when I look what you have become, OF
I can say with joy in my heart YOU
how proud I am,
that you have consciously chosen me
to be your "old man".

You've granted me the honor
to become your sons' grandfather
and gave me the blessing
to become your mother's husband.

I've seen you during your downs,
but I've also seen
how you've grown so much
in knowledge & in wisdom.

And though just like me,
you're still not perfect,
we know and see,
that you are working hard
to progress.

So on this special day
my prayer for you,
is that you allow God's Spirit
to consciously
continue His good works within,
so you may experience His guidance,
blessings & presence,
as a husband, father & provider
each & every moment.
