What is spiritual growth?
When we become genuinely free from a desire, not forcefully but naturally, we move one step further. In this way, by achieving or by ignoring, one after the other, being light from the desires of the mind, is the spiritual improvement.
Work hard to fulfil your duties not desires. That is probably sounding against the normal beliefs but just don't forget modern beliefs are founded by marketers to create desires in us to sell us something.

I think painters, fiction writers, filmmakers, people who have an art form of expression, are very different from average people, they should embrace a different lifestyle. The desire to talk is energy that always tries to come out of us. Until that energy is trapped, it will not unconsciously channelise on a canvas or paper or screen.

"Find your passion... experiment with yourself..." Don't advise a 22 years old person who has family responsibilities. Not every teenager has the luxury of time to find and experiment with their passion.
