ना जाने क्यों वो खुदको अकेली पाती है,
रोज़ रात शोर शराबे से दूर,
वो अपने ख्यालों से मिलती है ।

घड़ी की टिक टिक के साथ
उसके दिल की धड़कन तेज़ होती है,
रात तो अभी शुरू हुई है मगर,
दिल और दिमाग के बीच
गुफ़्तगू अभी बाकी है,
रोज़ रात शोर शराबे से दूर
वो अपने ख्यालों से मिलती है ।

कभी सवाल उठते हैं
उसके अस्तित्व और मौजुदगी की,
तोह कभी तर्क होता है
सालों पहले लिए गए कुछ फैसलों की,
इस समय में सही और ग़लत की,
रात की शून्यता में
घुलना उसका बाकी है,
रोज़ रात शोर शराबे से दूर
वो अपने ख्यालों से मिलती है ।
