me to her embrace.

Enticing me
with her flawless darkness.

Making me wish
only if i could fly.


If only I could fly,
I would have loved
flying through her moonlit starry sky.

Your eyes play tricks on you under its influence.
Your ears tries to make sense of its silence.
The cool breeze that it blows on you sends a chill down your spine.

Sometimes, when you look up in the darkness of the sky at night,
It steals all your senses and morphs them so
that all that crap about being the centre of the universe gets sucked in that void, and all you are left with is a feeling,

a feeling that you are nothing in this eternal game of nature and its cosmos.

I can see a troubled future ahead.
But the fact that I can see this,
Gives me an opportunity to do something about it.

The memories of the past are like the remnants of the stars that have died ages ago.

They are gone but their light still reaches us, to this day.
And we can't do anything about it but watch them fade away with time.

She was like the shining moon among the stars, on a full-moon night.
And he was like the wolf on a cliff, howling for her, alone, with all his might.

Everything was fine.
"To-do" list was getting completed on time.
There were no sleepless nights.
There were no good or bad days.
Life was in a routine.

But Then,
the Eye-Contact happened...

I know it's unwise to be afraid of the future,
But still, I'm terrified of the moment I'm going to lock my eyes with yours, once this lockdown is over.

Nature seems like a bitch,
it never creates anything
just because of an itch.

If it has created a positive,
it will have an equivalent negative.

There's light
And the darkness is gone,
There's evil
so that good is never alone,
There's right
in existence with the wrong,

But since she's a bitch,
she doesn't think about it,
you have to classify
which is which.

You, with that radiant smile,
can you try and stay out of my way and my thoughts.

I can speak for me,
that I waited for your call.
I waited for that meal
that we could share.
I waited for your text.
But rarely any of them came.

Then came a time when
we both kinda forgot
that we were once close.


We still share occasional laughs,
The embers of that spark are still there,
We are still there for one another,
As "friends"
who help each other,
Just like that
for-emergencies-only contact.
