उसकी आँखों के जमाल ने
तोड़े हैं बड़े दिल।
अब चश्म - ए - नम हमारी
मुस्कुराती ग़म में हैं।

चाहूँ भी तो शिकवा ए बूतां करू किस से
ये दिल हर उल्फत में है सरफरोश हुआ ।

Enclosed in the attire
of thy comfy arms.
I've found an abode
so homely and warm.

Dripping my sorrows,
inhaling a healing trance,
I surrender to you
in celestial romance.

Lamenting over thy
loss, I wept in peace.
just to realise I can
be enough by myself
if only I refuse to sink.

I wanna bloom and grow
without being plucked with pain.
teach myself love, without
having to fall again.

The parts of our body,
like pieces of flesh and bones.
looking to find a soul in poetry
that would make them whole.
