Almost is such an ironic word..
It comes right before all the things that we really want.
I was almost up that hill.
I almost had my love.
We almost had our happily ever after.
But it never gives us what we really want.
It let's us have a bite of that delicious, decadent, piece of chocolate cake but snaches it away right when we start getting comfortable and actually indulge ourselves into it.
