The mind sees love. The body sees lust.

At the time, I saw both when I saw Steve.

When I fell in love with him, I had no idea I was going to want to kill him one day.

How would I know? I thought I was in love.

And he was a beautiful man. A gorgeous man, charming and suave.

I'm human after all, my instincts and actions just a product of evolution. Primal. Basic.

They say don't go on the looks. That's better said that done, most of the time.

We go for the looks first. The mind shuts down, only primitive instincts work.

That is until the fear sets in. Primal. Basic. As you realize who you've fallen for.
