Twisted Reality

Pale strings link two worlds
separated by thin veils
and illussions where
'you' can't find 'i' and
'i' wilts and burn before
merging into 'you'.

run deep inside
old trenches
stirring up her emotions
in odd moments
every now and then
amidst misery and bliss.

Estranged and hopeless
life seems at times
when circumstances
do not favour us
creating chaos inside
our mind and heart
pushing us to not believe
in the good we already
have in our hands
only to make us defy all
the universal laws
made by God.

Unduly and unhindered
love comes down from the heavens
only to rescue unacknowledged hearts
who never stopped pouring into others

Indecision stagnates one's life by
hindering perception and fostering
fears at night,
slowly devouring a wretched soul and
unattainable peace of mind.
