How many times have you ever treaded on your own glasses not realising they are around?

Soft like the feather, fierce like the fire
Calming like the breeze, raging like the volcano
Fleeting like the dew, forever like the ocean
Sometimes, sometimes that
A bunch of paradoxes
Take me as I am or watch me as I go!

It hurts when
somebody judges us
And it hurts even more
knowing we failed to
draw boundaries.

I stopped aspiring to become
my favorite teacher,
my next-door aunt,
my distant cousin
or even that random stranger
for you see
I got a li'l too busy
unbecoming
all that
I am not.

Truth comes out when
Darkness looms over the sky
After a heavy downpour
Shines truth like a ray of light
Dispelling all clouds
Full of lies.

Filled to the brim
Aroma wafting across
Spilling beans stashed in
forlorn chambers
Crushing, pounding
Bringing out its essence
Slurping on the froth
Magic indeed brews
over a cup of coffee
