Since ages, men searched for it everywhere, in the flow of the oceans, in the burning flames of the sun, in the hustle of the wind, in the depth of the soil beneath, in the stars above...
How foolish were they, he thought, The universe was nowhere to be found, but in her eyes!
Though alone, thinking about her, looking up at the starry sky, he felt a certain a ecstasy... As if the stars twinkled to tell him, that somewhere, she was out there too, gazing the same stars, thinking about him!
On a still night, as he lay upon the dewy grass staring up at the night sky, He'd realised that only his love like the stars above, no matter how infinite, wasn't enough for the both of them!
She dances within my heart where no one can see her, And then she dances on that blank sheet of paper where everyone sees her, I guess that's what they call poetry!
As I stood by the river and saw my reflection in that gentle stream, I'd realized the universe had played the most wonderful trick on me! It had made her eyes like mirrors, So each time I looked I could remember myself in them!
