Why do we suffer more in our imagination than in reality?

Maybe because inside our mind where there are no prying eyes and ears, we are contented with our fantasies. The moment you voice it out, those thoughts become real. And that is scary. Attaching voice to thoughts is like trying to float on the surface with a stone tied to our ankle.

Abused home coming,
Silence at dinner table,
Voices whisper home.

So, I won't promise you that.
I won't always be in touch, I know me.
Instead, I will promise you this.
If you ever need me, I will be there.
This is my way of showing that
I care about you, so if you need me,
I will become needed.

Is it ok to not have an opinion about everything? It it right, if I appreciate the art, and not the artist? Will I be judged, not having attachment to the person yet be possessive of their persona? Can one not care about the worker and yet seem to be truly be satisfied with their work?
