What drives…?

When you blame… when you blame others or self… what drives you? Have you paused and looked at yourself when you blame? When you blame, you derive certain pleasure is it not? What’s that pleasure? You feel sorry for yourself or it’s self pity? Have you noticed? Self-pity derives its pleasure from blaming!

What drives…?

As a parent or as an educator, have you ever observed your approaches towards children, towards raising or educating them? You want them to be good children based on what? Constantly, you drive them through a mechanism of reward or punishment? If a child acts out of fear of reward or punishment, is it really goodness?

If one watches closely, every single human action is based on one common denominator… and what is that? It is to avoid hurt, that is, whatever actions humans undertake, they want to avoid getting hurt one way or the other! Implying, the driving energy of even so called noble action is based on fear, fear not to be hurt!

Parenting Today…
To rob the child of play…
To rob the child of innocence…
To rob the child of its originality…
First give in the child’s hand a mobile and then complain the child is always playing with mobile…
Show the child how to respect and value things and use people and relationships…
To rob the child’s life and then provide a great livelihood…

Is love a memory of the past? Is love an emotion to be ruminated upon? Is love a feeling to be attached with? Is love a challenge to succeed or fail? Is love stupidity for it to be blind? These are the most common ways we know love, but surely it’s so shallow, so superficial… so what is love?
