Be it for those many unsung heroes who are honestly striving for nation's welfare
Be it for those mothers who raised responsible citizen
Be it for the beautiful land on which we reside and cherish
May we always uphold the spirit of Independence in its truest sense with utmost responsibility. It certainly hasn't come for free!

This whole universe and the supreme soul that emobies it is our "Guru" if we have the attitude of surrender to its subtlety.

Scriptures are our "Guru" which enable our vision towards that subtlety.

All those learned and pious souls are our "Guru" who translate this subtlety to simplicity for us.

All the living beings we come across are our "Guru" who enable the cause to let us imbibe this simplicity, so that we can look in the direction of that subtlety.

Our innermost core is blissfulness. Guarding that is our intellect, which protects the bliss within from the traps of emotions, energy fluctuations and physical shortcomings that life may subject us to.

Going through this thought process actively as we hold an asana is performing Yoga and maintaining this thought always within is being in Yoga.

Where he sat for meditation, calf would drink milk from lioness and cub would drink milk from cow

When, in an outrage, a villager started piercing nail into his ears, he stood still and calm, engrossed into dhyana

Gender inequality was abolished by him in his era. In his divine pavillion (Samavasaran), where his divine discourses were held, women ascetics and householders held respectable position

He removed caste system and uplifted the oppressed

Most importantly,

He showed the path of liberation, and taught right perception, right knowledge and right conduct; which was also propounded by his 23 predecessors, but was lost with time.

Such was his aura. Who says humility isn't a winner? Once we know our true identity is the soul, every illusion gets discarded. Through his teachings and exemplary life, we continue to aspire the path he took.
