I've learnt that Love just happens when you least expect it

I've learnt the reality of only trusting myself
In the hope of having a better life
I've learnt to count my blessings
In hoping, I've found the truth
The truth of life and the truth that can be only taught by life.

Kindness is often misunderstood
And pretending is accepted
While we are running on the opposites
The kind are mistreated
While the pseudos are respected
In this world of the living,
We are only fooled or fooling the dejected.

Beyond the screens
Beyond the sheets
Of society, of the filtered screens
But you have two sides
One of who you really are
And one that's beyond you
A stranger, a picture of who you wanna be
A picture perfect to you
