Function of food is to satiate hunger,
and provide nutrition to the body.

It isn't meant for endless greed.

The auto-wallah turned his head when I was paying him. I was the second passenger (sitting in the middle) on the shared auto ride. In a hurry to catch the train I didn't want to wait. His stubbles brushed my fingers. I shut my eyes in response and moved my hand away.

Touching a lover's cheeks is an experience. His stubbles are familiar, it's a gesture of love. Your fingers run through his cheeks, silky strands of hair when his lips run through your neck. His hot breath burns through you. You give him yourself.

A stranger's touch is cringeworthy, unwelcoming. A lover 's touch is like a shower of fresh flowers on a cool breezy day.

From not lifting myself out of bed the whole December to working on myself everyday. Past three months have taught me more than the three decades of my life ever could.

Ordinary love isn't constant. It changes with time, unfulfilled desires and expectations. The only love that is unconditional is for the Divine and of the Divine. Lord Krishna has regarded Prem to the supreme bhakti. His words are always in a spiritual context. Never in regards to material possessions.

I have lost weight in December. Survived on only one meal each day. My body has repelled food more than it has accepted it. If pain has no outlet it acts as a venom killing you from inside. Don't lose hope in the Divine. Don't lose patience.

Pain takes time to fade away.
Grief comes back time and again.
Take deep breaths and tell yourself
that you're stronger each day,
and this wave shall pass.

Everything is temporary. Nothing is eternal or perpetual.

Propel mentally( dancing, music, painting) or spiritually. Indulge yourself in things that make you happy so that you're not dependent on others for happiness.

Practice mindfulness. Ask yourself: What am I doing right now?

Meditate 5-10 mins before you sleep at night.
Reading makes you mature. IMHO, it also teaches you patience.

If I'm not grateful for what I have, I feel attached to things that I don't have or can't have.

जो नित्य नहीं है वह सत्य नहीं
What is not constant is not true.

You lose the friend when you lose the lover

Make friends. Then make some more
Who you share things more than you share with the lover.

Because this time when you lose your lover
You will still have friends.

If you lose a lover and friend in one person
Make writing your friend. Share all your secrets to writing.

Write your desires, wishes, thoughts.
If you want to love. Write love.
If you want to talk. Write words.
Writing is your best friend when no one is.

The ultimate friend you can always turn to is Mother Divine.

The land of ancient Buddhism.

Your memories are like a flash of light in my brain. I get into arguments with you in my head. Even in my head you are mute. You've no answer to my questions.

I take the light and put it at the Lord's feet. The Lord's lotus feet are huge and blue. I only see His toes. I take your memories and place them at His feet. He breaks them into a thousand pieces freeing me from my shackles.

Then I place your person at His feet. Asking him to bless you, take care of you, to keep you happy. For I won't listen when you call out to me. I won't be there anymore when you are alone, in pain or need help. He is always there. He always listens. I pray for you everyday.
