My mother scolds me again,
My pet dog, Shinchan,
Staring as if saying
"Bro, again?"

I thought I was empty & cold,
And that nothing bothered me anymore.
But her eyes made me feel all the love & pain.

Then as I looked over at Shinchan,
Still staring as if saying, "it's alright.
His eyes made me feel all the love & pain.

The Bible says, dogs don't go to Heaven
Well, if Shinchan doesn't,
I guess I don't wanna as well.

It was just like in the movies,
Guilt-conscience overwhelming me.
Like Freddie said in his song,
I didn't wanna die
Just sometimes wish
I'd never been born at all.

Then I tried calling up a few friends,
Sharing helps, I had heard,
But luck didn't go well.

So I turned back to my old ways,
The same ones that led me there.
And I felt empty & cold again.
