ख़ामोशी भी समझ लूँ और भावनाएँ भी

अगर रखूँ ख़्वाहिशें तो स्वार्थी मैं
ना रखूँ अपेक्षाएँ तो अभिमानी
उलझनों को समय दूँ तो लापरवाह मैं
और अपने पक्ष की बात करूँ तो अनुमानी
शब्दों का यह खेल खेलूँ तो अनाड़ी मैं
और उनका कहा सब मान लूँ तो…
समझदारी…
