She runs through the trees,
Sees the sun behind those leaves.
Trips on the jagged roots,
A scream echoes through the woods.
Autumn passes boldly,
Setting a fire dancing amber.
Then winter hugs her coldly,
Frostbiting her clamour.
A dark clouds engulfs her in,
A pause button to a song.
Teardrops shaped reminders,
Each one more sharper and long.
Thunder bubbles up her throat,
Water drowns her under the shore.
Every word a wish misspoken,
Stormeir woes of life that groans.
A steel cage traps her in,
Paralyzing her from within.
Scars and wounds start to burn,
Old bandages weep blood.
Every red hull of autumn,
Every white anger of winter.
Every sound rythmn of thunder
Whispered the silence of her emotions
Looking up the withered sky,
A broken star passing by.
She closes her eyes,
Wishing the sun to stop her plight.
