I do love taking pleasure in smaller things, because In time all you'll find in the big things is Frustration.
Over time every brilliant political scheme looks the same...
but there is always new joy to be discovered in the smell of freshly brewed coffee, or the beauty of an exquisite sculpture.
I may sound like an aesthete.
But,
if you want to live forever, you have to find joy in the little things. The great narratives lose their sparkle, but a beautiful rose will always be a beautiful rose.

It is said that Art is primarily about Pain and Suffering, "Our sweetest songs are those that tell of saddest thought" is what Shelley said.

Politics is also an Art, probably one of the greatest.
It is an Art of Convincing people of one's Idea while making them think that the idea was theirs all along. And that's why Politicians are probably the greatest artists, living among us, above us, beyond us.
But in this scenario the Society, and beyond society the System itself is the Canvas and those who suffer are the Patrons not the Artists, neither before creating the art nor after.

Real, a word that can't be be defined, ever. A term that is very Relative. What is Real ? How much Real is Real ?
No answer.
Now the question is who is Real ?
You, me, we aren't Real.
We just dawn a Mask as soon as our consciousness is awakened, and then another and the number only goes up.
We're a son or a daughter to our Parents,
A Brother or a Sister to our siblings,
nephew or niece to our uncles and aunts,
Grandson or Granddaughter to our Grandparents,
we're friends or fiends among our friends,
Then A Husband or perhaps a Wife to someone,
A father or a mother to our children,
Now, where is the real self among all these ?
Nowhere.
In a room full of people when you look at the Mirror into the eyes of your reflection you see what people think of you and what you think, people think of you. Not the Real You.
Even if the room wasn't full of people you would still see the same.
Perhaps the real you were there when you were an infant, unable to communicate, unable to do anything, needed all the support.
But, Gone are those Days, Lost is that Time.
Now,
It's just Another Day, Another Mask.

I have said it before,
but I suppose I overlooked something a bit.
Anything or anyone 'Perfect' doesn't exist.
The same can be said for 'Life'.
But, it's us who are unable to accept what can be !
You put people in their dream world, free them from all sorts of misery and woe,
and still after some time they will be bored and will be willing to return to his miserable, old, woeful 'Life'.
Perhaps humanity can't accept the World of Happiness cause It is the definition of 'Woe' and 'Misery' itself.
Humanity is not infected with misery. It is The Greatest Misery.

What I couldn't mention is that we Can live happily, but not for a long time. They crave Despair and Chaos and when get that they complaint about it and then seek happiness, and when thay fail to get it they pass on this cycle to others as well perhaps for experimentation or perhaps for fun or perhaps it's just their way of 'happiness'. Who knows!

Two Years ago, when the Pandemic started,
One of my few Friends said something about a Picture on Nature vs Human Evolution.
He said, "That's why nature is rebooting now",
I, still, Do Remember that.

At that time I had to concede with him because that was the Truth and it still is and perhaps always will be, but I did so without diving into the words "nature" and "rebooting" any further, allowing myself to see it from a Ecological perspective Only.
But, it's been two years..... and a lot of things happened in these two years.... Death, Demise, Destruction, Damnation, Desolation and many more, which really made me think that;
Is it Only Ecology that needs to reboot now !
Doesn't the So called "Society" in its "Marvellous Form" Stenching of the "Upcoming Glorious Future" Need a reboot as well ? I think it does.
Again and again history has shown the Fall of Great Civilizations through Great Cataclysms. Perhaps 'It' is yet to cross the Threshold before it Falls, sometimes in the middle of the Day and before closing my eyes for a Dreamless Sleep at the Night, I Wonder that how many aspects of life along with the lives need to be Sacrificed before the "Rebooting" starts.

From the beginning of our Civilization,
We Fought ! we fought never ending Battles,
First with the Nature, then among ourselves,
Ages pass by, we are still fighting, Sticks turned into Swords, Arrows turned into Bullets, Fire turned into Nukes, it's just the same as it was before.
But still among all these, we look up to the sky, to the stars, to the heavens, Yearning, seeking answers.
But, never did we try to grow up as a Species, we store and then pass on the weapons we cultivated to our younger ones, Teach them to repeat the the same thing, again and again and again, a vicious circle, never ending Woe, everlasting Damnation,
like the Ferryman would say, "Though me, the way to the City of Woe. Through me, the way to everlasting pain. Abandon all hope, ye who enter here."
Yes, perhaps we all are The Ferryman.
But all these, for what ! Keeping us and the others in the Grave the most "Protected and Safest place" that our ancestors dug ?
Perhaps So !
But if it is so, Then the Answer we seek from the heavens will not be so pleasing, the yearning we have will become delusional and futile.

Truth - Lie, Lie - Truth,
Vice - Virtue, Virtue - Vice, it's all the Same.
Like someone's Trash is someone's Treasure,
the same way, someone's Lie is someone's Truth,
someone's Virtue is someone's Vice.
Truth is what every Individual Believes, believes Knowingly or Unknowingly, but... can't it be just a Lie !!
Can't the Vice be a Virtue to some !
Afterall....it's all about Believes and Believers.

History, unknown to those in the Present, is doomed to repeat itself, and that may even be more true for us, as we are formed in a few basic molds. These molds, they don't change over time, their structures always the same, and no matter how long we live, we rarely change in any significant way either.

Ironic for a race that prides itself to have conquered and morphed almost everything there is and still does.

Dreamers are in too short supply on this world these days. People are wrapped in monotony, working like drones day after day, night after nigh, returning home, charging themselves and then entering the loop again.
And soon there will be not so much to dream about, it is then when we will need more Visionaries, of one kind or another.
Do I think it is naive to to feel idealistic about the unknown ? No. If we didn't feel that way we'd be nothing more than a mossy stone, destined to stay there forever unless moved and rightly so.
Instead we took the place at the top of everything, and now I suppose we're becoming more like that stone.
I suppose there will be enough time for reality later, now it's time for the emergence of new ideas, visions.

Everyone is an Actor.
We Portray the Roles that we're Assigned....
Probably, the only difference is how much Heart goes into the Performance.
Now many may say that's quite a Pessimistic view,
but.... So is Distrust.

Perhaps we should try a little less of both.
