भटका बचपन, बिछड़ा गांव
चली उम्मीदें नापने पक्की सड़कें नंगें पांव
हो बिकती जहां मजबूरी बाजारों में
मैं बस लाया अपने सर,
जिम्मेदारियों की छांव
ये प्यास शहर के ज़हर की
ईमान दुबोने के दरिया हज़ार
भागे मन,

जैसे काग़ज़ की नाव!

कि तुम पशमीना धागे से,
मंहगे बड़े हो
मैं वक्त की सूई से
मुलायम मोहब्बत बुनु
या शिकायत की गठाने

तुम बस आराम हो जाना!
